Hot take: the reason Tahani is always name dropping all the time is because her parents taught her that her worth comes from her association with people than are better than her (mostly her sister), not that she has worth on her own. Tahani name drops around her friends a lot because she wants them to value and respect her and while she was alive, she was only valued and respected because of who she was related to.
